Who We Are
Mikrotec has been in business for ten years, first as a local ISP, then growing to a regional ISP, and for the last several years into a full service IT provider.
We are a subsidiary of Gearheart Communications, which has interests in telephony, television, radio, and with Mikrotec, Internet and information technology. Gearheart is a solidly based business entity that has been functioning for over fifty years.
Based in Kentucky, Mikrotec has two main facilities, in the city of Lexington and in the community of Harold. Our Lexington location is a state of the art hosting and network operations center. Our other facility houses our technical support call center, web design offices, and ISP.
